Chris Barclay will step in as interim executive director and be joined by Clayton Evans on the executive team of Arts on the Block, the organization has announced. The two will take over the organization as Anne L’Ecuyer steps down to become the executive director of Arizona Commission on the Arts after five years at Silver Spring-based AOB.
Most of the arts and entertainment venues in downtown Silver Spring are now open to patrons, as long as they follow each venue’s protocol regarding vaccines, masking and other requirements.
Two Silver Spring-based nonprofit groups have been awarded High Impact Grants, two of the 108 recipients of awards from the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation.
