Cora’s Birthday Party at the Takoma Park Folk Festival

FreeCome sing “Happy Birthday” to one of our newer neighbors, Cora!
In 2022, local Mom, Beth Novay, noticed that “Takoma Park very conveniently throws a Folk Festival on the weekend of my daughter’s birthday,” so she had a special birthday party at the Festival to mark her daughter Cora’s first birthday. Festival organizers saw the birthday party as a welcome addition because it highlighted the Festival themes of new beginnings and “Regroovination”
This year the birthday party will return, and, like the Festival, it will be bigger and better than ever. Beth will be coming with 2-year-old Cora and “a couple dozen” of her playmates. There will be cake and lots of romping 2-year-olds and the whole community is invited to sing “Happy Birthday” to Cora.
