Baltimore-based Underground Pizza Company is returning to Olazzo Restaurant in downtown Silver Spring this weekend, bringing its Detroit-style pies for a Super Bowl Sunday pop-up.
County Executive Marc Elrich will hold a virtual roundtable discussion next week on the recommendations contained in the Reimagining Public Safety Task Force Report released yesterday. Elrich appointed a group of 45 volunteer community members, 35 county representatives, and technical consultants last year. Capital One Financial Corp. will close two of its local branches later this year, a company spokesperson confirmed to the Source. The last day of operations for the locations at 8740 Arliss Street (Takoma Park Shopping Center) in Long Branch and at 8676 Georgia Ave. (corner of Georgia and Cameron Street) will be April 28.
