New artwork created by veterans is now on display at the Takoma Park Community Center at 7500 Maple Ave., according to an announcement from city officials.
CREATE Arts Center will mark its 35th anniversary with a free reception and exhibit opening on Tuesday, Oct. 26 from 6–8 p.m. in the Tamar Hendel Art Gallery at 914 Silver Spring Ave. The exhibition will feature a diverse group of local artists, with both two- and three-dimensional original works including paintings, sculptures and textiles.
The Tower Companies tomorrow will officially unveil a group of eight public art murals the organization commissioned for The Blairs District at The Blairs Mural Festival, the company announced.
