Zinnia to Mark First Anniversary of The Gardens with Octoberfest This Saturday

Zinnia will mark the first anniversary of the opening of The Gardens with an Octoberfest event Saturday, Oct. 1, according to an announcement from manager Mike Rothman.

The event will feature free-flowing Festbiers from four local breweries—Silver Branch, Union, Manor Hill and Atlas Brew Works.

In addition, customers will receive a take-home stein, enjoy German fare for purchase, yard games and other activities.

There will be two timed, ticketed sessions, one from noon–2 p.m. and one from 2–4 p.m. After each session, customers will have a few minutes to finish their drinks before being asked to leave the area prior to the second session, or because the garden will open for dinner reservations at 5 p.m.

Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door and available through the event website. Zinnia is located at 9201 Colesville Rd. and Octoberfest will be held rain or shine.

Zinnia recently opened their new dining room to patrons as well.
