J. Hollinger’s Expands Menu, Now Serving Lunch

J. Hollinger’s Waterman’s Chophouse has launched a lunch menu, according to a post on the restaurant’s Instagram account.

The menu, shown below, includes the chophouse burger, steak frites, soft shell crab (also available as a sandwich), pasta arrabbiata, chilled seafood, and gazpacho. Also featured is the shrimp toast & slow-cooked pork belly, which the Washington Post’s Tom Sietsema praised in his June 24 review.

The lunch menu is offered from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

Owned by Jerry Hollinger of The Hollinger Group (The Daily DishThe Dish and Dram), J. Hollinger’s Waterman’s Chophouse opened on May 10 in the former home of The Classics at 8606 Colesville Rd. in downtown Silver Spring. John Manolatos, Cashion’s Eat Place alum and brother of general manager George Manolatos, recently took over as executive chef after the departure of Michelin-starred chef Mike Ellis.

Eater recently named the restaurant one of the “The 15 Hottest New Restaurants Around D.C.
