Quarry House Tavern Wins RAMMY Award for Best Beer Program

Quarry House Tavern in downtown Silver Spring has won a RAMMY award for Best Beer Program, according to Washingtonian Magazine.

The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington’s annual awards gala was held Sunday night at The Convention Center. The restaurant and chef of the year award categories returned after being paused due to the pandemic.

The Girl & The Vine in Takoma Park was a finalist in the Hottest Sandwich Spot category. Mark Bucher, who operates theĀ Feed The Fridge nonprofit and Medium Rare restaurants, and Andrew Dana and Daniela Moreira of theĀ Downtown Silver Spring Farmers Market regulars Call Your Mother, were finalists in the Restaurateur of the Year category.

2 Fifty Texas BBQ in nearby Riverdale Park won in the Standout Family Meal Packages To Go category, while Little Miner Taco, which has a location inside The Block food hall at Pike & Rose in North Bethesda, won the Favorite Fast Bites category.
