Registration Now Open for County’s Winter Virtual Rec Classes

Montgomery County Recreation has begun registering participants in winter virtual classes, the agency announced.

Winter classes run from January to March 2021 and are designed to promote active, healthy lifestyles.

Classes include art, adult and youth cooking, a variety of dance classes, fitness/wellness classes including Pilates, strength training and yoga, martial arts, music, multiple sports, and classes designed for those 55 and older, among other offerings.

There also are educational classes for students from toddler age to seniors, along with community programs, book discussions and other presentations.

The full listing of classes is now online. While there are some free offerings, most classes range in price from $10–$125.
