The Meditation Circle

Jade and Amy Dixon are hosting a bi-monthly study group intended to deepen existing meditative practices and to present ideas for those beginning a practice. Each session will focus on a new meditation strategy so that one will eventually find a style of practice that suits him or her. We will bring awareness to the breath, thoughts, body, sounds, smells and surroundings through various modalities. This workshop might include walking meditation, concentration with the use of mudras and chanting, focused breath attention meditation and guided visual meditation. We will learn together the different meditation paths and find the one that naturally resonates. Each session is 75 minutes long. Please come dressed comfortably and a journal might be helpful.
Cost is $25.
