The Silver Spring Garden Club invites you to a talk on:
Uncommonly Easy Fruits to Grow
Our speaker this month, Michael Judd of Ecologia Design, Edible & Ecological Landscapes (ecologiadesign.com), will be exploring uncommonly good fruits to grow for the D.C. region. Uncommonly tasty, uncommonly ornamental, and uncommonly easy to grow fruits. Fruits that adapt to partial shade and limited space will also be covered along with uncommonly practical design approaches that reduce inputs while maximizing harvests. Sound too go to be true? Come find out.
Principle designer/founder of Ecologia and author of Edible Landscaping with a Permaculture Twist, Michael Judd is a well-known and enjoyed speaker, noted for enthusiastic and clear presentations on a host of subjects surrounding edible and ecological landscapes. Presenter for Monticello Harvest Festival and NOFA – Northeast Organic Farmers Association, guest on popular radio such as “A Way to Garden” with Margaret Roach, and a host of podcasts revolving around edible landscaping, gardening, and permaculture.
