Parent Program Supporting Teens in Their Online Learning
January 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pmFree
I have always been a very hands-on parent in terms of my son’s education, so I did not think that “distance learning” would be any different than what I was accustomed to doing. But in this year of Covid distance learning, I have not only learned a lot as a parent in giving supports, but have helped numerous parents in my role as a Certified Educational Planner in supporting their teens as well. There are many stories we share, and I’ll share ideas of what has worked to change habits and attitudes. In some ways, there are bright spots this year, as students learn more about themselves, and how they individually learn in academic settings that have changed significantly. Join me as we figure out how to “lean in” to learn more about how our students learn and thrive.
