The Woodside Deli, an institution and neighborhood favorite at 9329 Georgia Ave., has permanently closed, according to various reports and Google.

The restaurant opened in 1947 and also offered a catering service.

A second location is Rockville is still operating. A staff member confirmed the closing and told the Source they would be moving the Silver Spring employees to the Rockville location.

The Source left a message with Deoudes-Magafan Realty, Inc., the property’s manager, seeking comment.
