The Sherwin-Williams Paint Store is now open at 8230 Georgia Ave. after moving from its previous location on Piney Branch Road.
The store is open 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and closed on Sunday. However, customers should be aware that new store is not fully stocked and the interior is still under construction.
The products available at the store include interior and exterior paint, paintbrushes, rollers, spray equipment, caulk, stain and wallpaper.
Some facts about Sherwin-Williams:
- The company was founded in 1866 by Henry Sherwin and Edward Williams
- Debuted the first ready-mixed paint in 1878.
- The Cleveland-based company’s logo once was a chameleon.
There are now more than 4,200 Sherwin-Williams stores in North America, with additional outlets worldwide.
Older readers might remember this logo, which replaced the chameleon and the company used for almost 70 years. Image from Flickr.
