Area food truck Trippy Tacos is set to open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant this weekend, according to reports.
The restaurant, located at 12134 Georgia Ave. in Glenmont, will hold a grand opening event at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 8 and at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 9. All attendees will receive a free taco, according to Bethesda Beat.
The MoCo Show reports that Trippy Tacos specializes in tacos with freshly made corn tortillas, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and mulitas. The restaurant also plans to offer an expanded menu that includes breakfast items, loaded nacho fries, pupusa pizza, and more.
