Takoma Music School is set to hold its official launch party this Saturday, according to an announcement from Main Street Takoma.
The school will provide comprehensive instruction for all ages and skill levels, covering various disciplines, including drums, piano, guitar, songwriting, music production, and DJ lessons. The instructors have formal training and are equipped to guide students from beginner to advanced levels across various genres and specializations:
Located in the heart of downtown Takoma Park, Takoma Music School offers one-on-one Private lessons for Drums, Piano, Guitar, Songwriting, and Audio production for all-ages and skill levels. Our instructors have formal training and are currently active in the DMV music community.
At Takoma Music School, our approach to music lessons is focused around individual attention, and establishing a pathway to identify and nurture each student’s connection to music. Everyone’s source of creativity is different, and we’re here to help you discover it!
Short and long-term goals are established by teachers and students together during lessons, with student recitals, access to our recording facilities, and our vast network of resources for finding your place in the DMV music community for performing live, preparing for auditions, and releasing music.
The launch party will take place on Saturday from 2 to 10 p.m., featuring performances by four local DJs and food from Olive Lounge. Additionally, attendees can also schedule a complimentary 30-minute lesson, giving them a firsthand experience of the school’s offerings.
