Roda Movements to Move from Takoma Park to Wheaton

Roda Movements will close its martial arts, fitness and dance studio after 15 years on Westmoreland Avenue in Takoma Park, according to an email from Main Street Takoma.

“Owner Roberto Tapia, a leader in the D.C. area Capoeira movement, will be moving the studio to 11226 Triangle Lane, Wheaton, MD at the end of February,” according to the announcement.

Students will be able to continue taking classes as of March 1 at the new studio.

Roda Movements will continue its partnership with The NatureLab in Takoma Park and offer joint summer camp programs.
