Police Investigating Second Pupuseria Luisa Food Truck Robbery

Takoma Park Police are investigating a second robbery of the Pupuseria Luisa food truck in the course of the same month.

Police spokesperson Cathy Plevy said officers responded around 4:00 p.m. on Friday to the Pupuseria Luisa food truck in the 6500 block of New Hampshire Ave. for a report of a strong-arm robbery that occurred earlier.

Two suspects entered the food truck through a side service window at approximately 2:47 p.m. After stealing property, the suspects exited the truck through the rear hatch and fled on foot toward Ray Road.

Two Hispanic males are suspected of the crime: (1) last seen wearing a black face mask, a white hoodie, and khaki pants; and (2) last seen wearing a black face mask and all-black clothing.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call Takoma Park Police at (301) 270-1100.
