Takoma Trukgarten Festival Set for June 4

Takoma Trukgarten, Takoma Park’s annual craft beer, wine, and food festival, will be held Saturday, June 4 from noon to 5 p.m., according to an announcement from Main Street Takoma.

Several breweries will be pouring craft beers and cider, including Silver Branch Brewing Co., Smoketown Brewing, Manor Hill Brewing, Streetcar 82, Peabody Heights Brewing Co, Union Brewing, and Anxo Cider, with more to be announced. The Girl & The Vine and Zinnia will also pour drinks at the event.

Additionally, PhoWheels and Soko Butcher will serve food, and vegetarian options will be available. Takoma Radio DJs will provide music entertainment.

Early-bird tickets are available now until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1. Prices are:

  • Beer Fan: $25 for entry, 6 tasting tickets & souvenir glass
  • Beer Lover: $35 for entry, 12 tasting tickets & souvenir glass

Tickets are for 4oz pours and are good for beer and cider, and tickets for additional pours will be available at the event. On the day of the event, Beer Fan and Beer Lover prices will go up by $10. Non-drinkers and those under 21 enter free.

The event will be located in the TPSS Co-op parking lot at 201 Ethan Allen Ave. in Takoma Park. Children and dogs are welcome, and the event will be held rain or shine.
