Several Silver Spring-based organizations have been given grants to increase resident access to yard, patio, and community gardening supplies, space, and education, under the Montgomery County Food Council’s Resident and Community Food Production Grant Program.
South Silver Spring-based nonprofit Shepherd’s Table has been chosen as a Grants 4 Plants urban garden grant recipient, as reported by a post to their Instagram account.
County officials and representatives of the county’s nonprofit partners cut the ribbon on a new Progress Place Dec. 10.
