Krazy Steve’s Restaurant Apparently in the Works

A new restaurant called Krazy Steve’s is apparently in the works in the space on Seminary Road formerly occupied by Armand’s Chicago Pizzeria.

According to the (unconfirmed) word on the street, “Krazy Steve” is a former Armand’s staff person who intends to offer some form of comfort food in the new outlet.

The operator has applied for a Class D alcohol license to permit sales of beer and wine for both on-premise consumption and carry out.

Armand’s closed in July after 29 years in the Montgomery Hills neighborhood.

Regardless of the cuisine Krazy Steve’s will serve, it offers a different—dare we say “refreshing?”—look for the small strip center.

In the meantime, the Source spotted a flooring company van and employees going in and out of the planned Spring Garden Asian Restaurant and Sushi Bazaar two doors down, indicating that work continues in the that location.

Spring Garden was formerly located in the Spring Center on 16th Street but closed in the fall of 2017 to make way for Purple Line construction. The new location once housed a Carpet Bazaar.
