An unknown sidewalk artist, or artists, has been brightening the days of at least one Sligo Creek Trail user for several years now.
“I’d like to publicly thank the unknown artist who, for at least the last couple of years, has been leaving hopeful, inspirational messages chalked along the Sligo Creek Trail,” wrote Bob Ferguson, who sent his pictures to the Source.
The temporary art appears along the trail north of Colesville Road toward Forest Glen Road and Dennis Avenue, he said.
“They are always an unexpected bright point in my day, helping me feel a connection to the artist and the other trail users,” Ferguson added.
So whoever you are, know that your efforts are appreciated.
