Citizens Advisory Board Member Jeffrey D. Le Joins Leadership Maryland’s Emerging Leader Program

Jeffrey D. Le has been selected to participate in Leadership Maryland’s statewide professional development program as a member of the new Emerging Leader Program’s Class of 2024.

Le is a Silver Spring Citizens Advisory Board member and Director of Government Affairs for Florham Park, N.J.-based IT services company Conduent. He was also previously appointed to the county’s Anti-Hate Task Force.

Le is one of 40 individuals selected for the inaugural Leadership Maryland Emerging Leader Program. The six-month program consists of monthly day-long sessions featuring interactive training led by facilitators and panel discussions with guest speakers from across the state.

The curriculum offers a holistic approach to leadership development, designed to help participants increase self-awareness and gain behaviors, skills, and tools to become more adaptive, inclusive, strategic, and impactful leaders.

“We are excited to announce the very first Emerging Leader class and welcome these motivated and forward-thinking individuals to our new program,” Leadership Maryland president and CEO David Fike said in a press release. “This year’s class selection process was highly competitive, and after careful review of the applications, I am thrilled to share that the 40 members of the Class of 2024 represent a dynamic cross-section of ambitious and promising rising leaders. The knowledge, experience, and connections they will gain in our program will prepare them to become more adaptive and impactful leaders in their careers and communities.”

The Emerging Leader Program is open to individuals advancing in their careers, actively involved in their communities, and desiring to become stronger leaders in both areas. Ideal Leadership Maryland members want to learn more about Maryland’s critical issues and are personally committed to being a force for positive change in their organizations and communities.
