KFC-Taco Bell Burglary Suspect Sought by Police

Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect captured on surveillance video during a burglary at the KFC-Taco Bell on October 30.

Around 9:09 a.m. on October 30, officers from the 3rd District went to the KFCTaco Bell at the 7700 block of Blair Rd. near downtown Silver Spring after a burglary was reported. According to an MCPD news release, the investigation by detectives revealed that at about 5 a.m., a male adult suspect forcefully opened the restaurant’s drive-through window, reached in, took merchandise, and then left.

Detectives reviewed the restaurant’s surveillance footage (video below) and obtained a description of the suspect, who is described as a Black male, around 30 years old and wearing a red jacket.
