UPDATED: Police: Silver Spring Teen Missing Since October 6

UPDATE: Montgomery County Police announced that Nevaeh Makel has been located safe and unharmed.

Montgomery County Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Nevaeh Makel, who has been missing since October 6.

Makel was last seen Friday, October 6 in the 900 block of Ellsworth Drive in Downtown Silver Spring, according to an MCPD press release. Makel is approximately 5 feet tall, weighs 110 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black and white Nike sweatshirt and Timberland boots.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding Nevaeh Makel’s whereabouts to call (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.
