Suspects Sought in Attempted Robbery, Hit-and-Run

Montgomery County Police are searching for suspects involved in an attempted robbery and hit-and-run.

4th District officers responded to a report of an assault in the 11000 block of Conti Place on Friday, September 15, at approximately 11:45 a.m. A preliminary investigation indicates that the victim, part of a group of people, was approached by individuals who got out of a light grey Hyundai Elantra, assaulted, and attempted to rob the victim. According to an MCPD news release, one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

After leaving the scene, the suspects returned in the Hyundai and intentionally hit the victim. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, MCPD said.
