UPDATED: Police: Aspen Hill Teen Missing Since March 10

UPDATE: Montgomery County Police tweeted that Shania Adams has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the county’s Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 13-year-old girl from Aspen Hill.

Shania Adams was last seen at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Friday, March 10, in the 3500 block of Pear Tree Ct., MCPD said in a news release. Adams is approximately five feet, two inches tall, and weighs 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair styled in a ponytail.

She was last seen wearing a pink bonnet, a black and gray puffy coat, a black t-shirt, black leggings, and green Crocs with a bow, MCPD said.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Shania Adams is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Special Victims Investigations Division at (240) 773-5400. Callers may remain anonymous.
