Gaithersburg Man Sought in Grocery Store Larceny, Burglaries

Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 55-year-old man wanted for a string of larceny and burglaries of grocery stores in Montgomery County.

According to MCPD, Jonah Ammiel Carter of Gaithersburg is suspected of stealing large quantities of goods from Giant Food stores in the 1200 block of East West Highway in downtown Silver Spring on Jan. 16, and the 15000 block of Old Columbia Pike on Feb. 6. He is also accused of stealing a large number of items from the Safeway in the 10000 block of Connecticut Avenue in Kensington on November 16.
