Home Invasion Robbery Suspect Sought by Police

Detectives from the county’s Major Crimes Division are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a home invasion robbery that occurred Wednesday evening.

4th District officers responded to the 2300 block of Glenallen Ave. at approximately 8 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a home invasion robbery.

According to detectives, the victim heard a knock on her door at approximately 8 p.m. The victim opened the door to find an unknown male armed with a handgun forcing his way into her residence and demanding money. The victim complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspect then fled the residence with an undisclosed sum of stolen funds, according to an MCPD news release.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male who stood approximately 6 feet, 3 inches tall, and weighed between 220 and 230 pounds. The subject was wearing dark-colored jeans, a faded blue zipper sweater, a dark blue baseball cap, and a dark blue bandana covering his lower face.
