UPDATED: Police: 14-Year-Old Girl Missing Since Dec. 28

UPDATE: Montgomery County Police tweeted that Catherine Madrid Flores has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the county’s Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 14-year-old girl from Silver Spring.

Catherine Madrid Flores was last seen in the 100 block of Colony Road at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, according to an MCPD news release. Flores stands approximately 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds, and has long black hair with red highlights and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Catherine Madrid Flores is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Special Victims Investigations Division at (240) 773-5400. Callers may remain anonymous.
