Police: Missing Silver Spring Teen Traveled to Chicago by Amtrak Train

Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 16-year-old Silver Spring girl who has been missing since September 27.

Rebeca Aragon-Soto was last seen at approximately 7:45 a.m. on September 27, 2022, in the 1700 block of Hampshire Green Lane, MCPD said in a news release. An investigation by detectives revealed that Aragon-Soto took the Amtrak train to Philadelphia and then to Chicago.

Aragon-Soto stands 5 feet, 1 inch tall, and weighs 180 pounds. She has brown hair and light brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and white Crocs. She was also carrying a brown Adidas backpack.
