Silver Branch Plans Ye Olde Beer Festivale

Silver Branch Brewing Co. will be marking the release of its mild ale, Ruby Dragon, with a Renaissance Faire-themed festival this Saturday.

Ruby Dragon was one of the first beers brewed by Silver Branch but was previously only available on cask.

“Amber-colored, malty, mild ale has been a mainstay in British pubs for hundreds of years,” according to the brewery. “Ruby Dragon is smooth and satisfyingly malty, but not sweet. It finishes with a hunt of biscuity-nutty complexity from prized Maris Otter malt and a tiny bit of dark-roasted malt.”

Ye Olde Beer Festivale, which runs from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Saturday at the brewery, will feature blacksmithing from Flatline Forge, faire food from The Eleanor Silver Spring, and mead from Clear Skies Meadery.

Admission is free and tickets are not required.
