Library Holds to Go Service to End Tomorrow at Silver Spring, Five Other Branches

The county library system’s Holds to Go service will end tomorrow (May 22) at the six libraries scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, June 1, including Silver Spring, officials announced.

In addition to Silver Spring, the other five branches where the service will end are Rockville, Gaithersburg, Olney, Marilyn J. Praisner and Connie Morella.

If patrons are unable to get an appointment at any of these branches before tomorrow, they should call the branch to make other arrangements.

The Silver Spring Library will not provide the service by appointment or phone request after May 22. Customers can either transfer their holds to another branch that offers the service, or wait until Silver Spring reopens on June 1.

All the other branches, which are closed, will continue to offer Holds to Go by appointment except Noyes and Germantown until further notice.
