Ice Skating Rink Reopens for Winter Season

The Silver Spring Ice Skating Rink at Veterans Plaza has reopened for the winter season — with some changes, according to a post on the facility’s Instagram account.

As stated in the rink’s Instagram post, all skaters must pre-register and pay online. Skating sessions are for one hour and can be pre-purchased for up to two weeks in advance. Tickets are $9 for adults, $8 for children & seniors, and skate rentals are $5. The facility will be open 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday & Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.

Reservations and more information are available at the Silver Spring Ice Skating Rink’s website.
