The county’s Alcohol Beverage Services department will hold lotteries to ensure equitable distribution of limited-availability products that typically have a high demand, the department announced.
There will be three lotteries—one for county residents, one for Maryland residents, and one for licensees.
Tickets for the lotteries will be on sale on the ABS lottery website beginning at noon on Sunday, April 3 until 11:59 p.m. Saturday, April 9.
Winners will be posted online on Monday, April 18 for county and state residents, who then must pickup the winning product in person from April 22 to close of business on May 1; no proxy pick-up will be allowed.
Entrants can rank their choice of product and are guaranteed an equal chance win each one, but may only purchase one product in the event of multiple winning entries. Available products have not yet been announced.
