Youth in Power

FreeJoin three dozen youth-empowering organizations in our community at the upcoming “Youth in Power” Open House on Wednesday, April 17, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Building/Veterans Plaza. Learn about opportunities for youth to get involved in various local nonprofits and other youth-centered organizations at this ‘one-stop’ informational forum for families and individuals who want to learn more about local youth programs and resources. This event is free to the public and will include collaborative mural painting, a drumming circle, and other fun activities. Between April 18 and 27, many participating organizations will host free program samplers at their respective sites. Be sure to get a copy of the Youth In Power Organization Guide when available by/before April 17.
