Dave & Buster’s will open its 40,000-square-foot entertainment and amusement venue on Nov. 21, bringing about 250 jobs to the area, according to Andy Smith, general manager of the Ellsworth Place location in downtown Silver Spring.
“With the umbrellas this year, we were thinking about something colorful, multi-shaped, multi-pattern . . . mirroring the diversity of Silver Spring here, which is really incredible,” said Jon Taylor, designer of this year’s holiday tree, the public art installation for the annual Re-Imagining the Holidays event on Ellsworth Drive.
Dave & Buster’s will open Nov. 21 in Ellsworth Place, according to a staff member. We have some photos of the games and other work going on inside the location and will provide more details closer to the opening.
Craft distilleries will be welcome in Montgomery County following a recent policy change designed to encourage these entrepreneurs to locate here.
