Police Investigating Armed Robbery in Takoma Park

Investigators from the Takoma Park Police Department are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday evening, and are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspects.

“On September 23, 2021, at approximately 6:00 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7500 block of New Hampshire Avenue for the report of an armed robbery,” reads an emailed Community Advisory.  “The victim indicated he was standing outside when a silver Honda CRV pulled up along side of him.  Three suspects got out of the vehicle and pushed the victim inside it.  They robbed him at gunpoint of all of his belongings and then threw him out of their vehicle.  They sped off taking a right on to Holton Lane towards Prince George’s County.  A lookout was provided to surrounding jurisdictions.  The victim was not seriously physically injured.

“The suspects are described as (1) black male last seen wearing a white t-shirt; (2) black male last seen wearing a purple shirt and khaki pants, black baseball cap or do-rag; and (3) black male last seen wearing all black clothing with a hoodie.  

“Investigators are asking that anyone with information about this incident, or knows the identities of the suspects, please contact the Takoma Park Police Department at 301-270-1100 and refer to case #210037687.”
