Takoma Park Police Investigating an Armed Robbery

Takoma Park police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at about 10:45 p.m on Saturday, April 24 near the intersection of Carroll and Tulip avenues.

Police responded to a report and victim said as she stood at the intersection, a black sedan of unknown make and model stopped nearby.

“Three unknown race males wearing all black clothing, including ski masks and hoodies pulled over their heads, exited the vehicle and approached her,” according to a department release. One of the subjects indicated he had a gun and another subject forcibly took property from the victim.  The three subjects re-entered the vehicle and fled towards Eastern Avenue.”

The victim said she though the suspects were between the ages of 16 to 18.
