Red Hound Pizza in Takoma Park has expanded its offerings to include breakfast every weekend.
Opened last July by former Seylou Bakery head pastry chef Charbel Abrache and his partner Andrea Alvarez, the restaurant now features a rotating breakfast menu on Saturdays and Sundays, offering baked goods, egg sandwiches, breakfast focaccia, and other items.
Last weekend’s offerings included Apple Pecan Scones, Mizuna Greens with Colby Cheese Scones, a Frittata with Mizuna Greens and Onions, an Egg Sandwich, a Capicola and Mozzarella Sandwich, and Za’atar Focaccia.
All items are made with freshly milled whole grain flour, local produce, and dairy from Mid-Atlantic farms.
Red Hound Pizza is located at 7050 Carroll Ave. in Takoma Park and offers breakfast from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekends. More information and menus are available online at redhoundpizza.com.
