Crown Fried Chicken is now open at 1909 Seminary Rd. in Montgomery Hills, according to a report from Bethesda Beat.
We reported in April that Crown Fried Chicken, a fast-food chain specializing in halal foods, would be taking over the space formerly occupied by Krazy Steve’s Comfort Cuisine.
Despite the name, the restaurants serve a large variety of foods depending on the location, including subs, burgers, sandwiches, seafood, appetizers, and side dishes.
There are locations in the Boston area as well as the Philadelphia region (where the menu includes cheesesteaks) that appear to be separate operations.
Krazy Steve’s was a brick-and-mortar outlet for the Carnivore BBQ food truck and also served pizza. It closed in January 2021 after operating for about a year and a half.
