The Peach Cobbler Factory will celebrate the grand opening of its new shop in Takoma this weekend.
This will be the second D.C. location for local franchisees Kevin and Eboni Wilson, who opened their first Peach Cobbler Factory in the District’s Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood in 2023.
The grand opening is set for 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 19.
According to a press release from Main Street Takoma, the Peach Cobbler Factory serves a variety of Southern-inspired desserts, including twelve types of fruit cobblers, multiple flavors of banana pudding, brownies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, churro sticks, waffles, and more.
The store offers dessert flights that allow customers to sample different flavors, featuring four flavors each, including both cobbler and pudding. Cobbler flavors range from classic peach and sweet potato pecan to apple caramel and cherry.
A special kids’ menu and catering services are also available, including pre-orders for full pans of desserts and various party packs. Customers can place their orders by visiting the store, calling, or using the store’s app for delivery through a third-party service.
The Kure Beach, NC-based chain has been recognized by QSR Magazine as the fastest-growing quick-service company in America based on sales volume, and signed an agreement last year to open five locations at EverBank Stadium in partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Peach Cobbler Factory is located at 6908 4th St. NW and online at peachcobblerfactory.com.
