Vendor Applications Open for Takoma Park Gift Market

Main Street Takoma is seeking various vendors for its annual Takoma Park Gift Market, held on December 13 outside the TPSS Co-op at 201 Ethan Allen Ave. in Takoma Park.

The event will include dinner by the fire from food trucks, specialty drinks from local restaurants, a “bang bar” for a trim or new look from Scissor and Comb Salon, and tarot readings from Spacecraft Tarot. Restaurants on the block, including Cielo Rojo, Seoul Food, Soko Butcher, Spring Mill Bread Co., and Cheros Grill, will also be open during the market.

Main Street Takoma executive director Laura Barclay said the organization is seeking a diverse range of vendors to create a unique holiday shopping experience. They will prioritize handmade items but will consider curated shops, including vintage.

“We are looking for a great mix of vendors for our annual outdoor holiday market,” Barclay said. “Always a fun night with holiday shopping, delicious food and festive cocktails!”

Vendor booth spaces measuring 10×10 feet are available for $115. The vendor is responsible for bringing their tent, table, etc., and paying all Maryland sales tax. Power and WiFi are not included.

Vendor applications are due by August 31 and can be submitted online.
