Police Investigating Shed Burglary, Stolen Auto

Takoma Park Police are investigating a shed burglary, stolen auto, and theft from auto, according to emailed community advisories:

Shed Burglary: On August 26, Takoma Park Police responded to the 1000 block of Larch Avenue for a shed burglary. Unknown suspect(s) at an unknown time made entry by using bolt cutters to break the lock. Investigation continues under case #220036867.

Stolen Auto: On August 26, at approximately 9:40 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 1300 block of University Blvd. East (7-11) for the report of a stolen auto. The outstanding stolen vehicle is described as a bronze 2020 Toyota Sienna, MD Tag #1EB5247. The suspect is described as an unknown race male, slim build and a goatee, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored pants.  He fled in the stolen vehicle heading eastbound on University Blvd. towards Riggs Road.  Case #220037133.

Theft From Auto: On August 29, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue for the report of a theft from an auto. Sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., an unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle by smashing out a window and stealing property. Case #220037322.
