Roda Juice Now Open in Takoma Park

Roda Juice, founded by Roberto Tapia, owner of Roda Movements in Takoma Park, is now open for online and pop-up business, according to an announcement from Main Street Takoma.

Roda Juices are cold-pressed, raw, unpasteurized and made 100% from fruits and vegetables in the TPSS Kitchen in Takoma Park.

Tapia started the business when his fitness studio was closed during the pandemic. He models his recipes after fresh juices that are found in the cafés and street carts in Latin America, especially his native country of Mexico.

Selections include Santiago (pomegranate, strawberry and cucumber and a pinch of ginger and jalapeño), Cartagena (blend of orange, pineapple, carrot and turmeric) and Mendoza (spinach, celery, apple and lemon), among others.

Tapia also offers along with juice cleanses and booster shots.

Roda Juice was recently featured in a video for the Montgomery County Council (see below), talking about his juices and demonstrating the cold-pressed process.

The juices can be order online and picked up at the studio at 7014-A Westmoreland Ave. in Takoma Park.
