Takoma Park Police Investigating Armed Robbery of 7-Eleven

Takoma Park police responded early this morning to the report of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven convenience store in the 6900 block of New Hampshire Avenue, according to an emailed community advisory.

Around 3 a.m., four people entered the store; one was armed with a black handgun. One subject demanded cash from the register while the other three stole property from the store.

The four ran to rear of the store where they were picked up by a black SUV and fled south on New Hampshire Avenue.

The advisory describes the suspects as:

  • Black male, 6’2”, slim build, unknown hair style, wearing an all-black hooded jacket, blue jeans, black gloves and a black face shield, armed with a black handgun of unknown type
  • Black male, 5’5”, slim build, dread-like hairstyle, wearing a black jacket, black face mask and blue jeans
  • Black male, 5’5”, slim build, bald, wearing a black face mask, glasses, black jacket and black jeans, and
  • Black female, 5’2”, shoulder-length hair, wearing a black jacket, black mask and black jeans.

A search of the area yielded no results, and no victims were harmed in the incident.

Investigators have notified other jurisdictions and ask that anyone who has any information about the robbery or the suspects call the department at 301.270.1100 and refer to case #210002275.
