The former Headlines Hair Designers location is currently available for lease in downtown Silver Spring.
The hair salon on the ground floor of the Arrive Silver Spring apartment building, located at 8740 Georgia Ave., opened in 1976 and closed abruptly last December after 48 years of operation.
Cosmetologist and realtor Cornelius Payne acquired the salon in 2023.
After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that Headlines Hair Designers has officially closed its doors. We want to take this moment to sincerely thank all of our clients, partners, and supporters for your trust and loyalty over the years.
