Prime Coffee & Bakery is now open in downtown Silver Spring.
We first reported last year that the bakery and café from Laurel-based coffee importer Dream Line International LLC would open on the ground floor of the Thayer and Spring apartment building next to the post office.
Along with Ethiopian coffee and a wide range of French bakery items, the coffee shop’s all-day menu includes sandwiches, tartines, salads, soups, and breakfast dishes.
Prime Coffee & Bakery, located at 930 Thayer Ave., is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Online ordering is available at primecoffeebakery.com.
