Suspect Sought in Attempted Burglary of Silver Spring Preschool

Detectives from the county’s 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in an attempted burglary that occurred on Christmas Day at a preschool in Silver Spring.

MCPD stated in a press release that at approximately 2:42 p.m. on December 27, officers from the 4th District responded to an attempted break-in at the Shomrai Emunah Preschool, located in the 800 block of University Boulevard West.

Investigators determined that the suspect arrived at the preschool in a silver Acura sedan at approximately 8:12 p.m., attempted to force entry, and then left the scene in the Acura.
