Whole Foods Market in Silver Spring unveiled its new venues in the first phase of a store renovation. Here are some photos of the new areas. (Photos by Mike Diegel)

Paper Horse offers ramen, three types of Chinese burgers, noodles and bao, as well as side dishes.

The bakery is much larger. Behind that is the second phase of the renovation, which should open in August.

There’s a new coffee, juice and smoothie bar near the bakery.

The store has expanded its seating for customers.
