A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet
and ice will make travel very hazardous or impossible.

When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on
steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery,
increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for 4 to 6 inches of snow, and The Washington Post’s Capital Weather Gang calls for 2 to 5 inches at the time of this posting.

Montgomery County has a Snow Information Portal with Snow Plowing & Removal Information, Delays and Closings, as well as Winter Weather Tips.
